A new build located on a residential estate in the East of Johannesburg. The clients brief was to design a new family home that had an open plan living area and large entertainment areas that flowed onto the outside pool deck. The house is orientated around the open plan living space with vertical glass elements on the North and South facades. The exterior appearance is a contemporary take on a traditional house profile. The clean lines and concentrated colour pallet enhances the traditional profile of the house, while still giving it a modern appearance.
